File Manager is used to manage files and folders. You can create folders, upload files, rename, delete them and zip/unzip archive. File Manager can be opened anytime by clicking on the App Listing menu and choose Files.
Each Site will have a Public Folder to store files and images that are viewable by anyone through the web (i.e: images shown on website). For easier management, files in this folder should be placed into sub-folders. At the start of each quarter, a sub-folder (e.g: 2023Q2) is automatically created in the Public Folder and it should be used to store files uploaded in that quarter of the year.
Protected Folder should be used to store Site's sensitive files (e.g: attachments) that should not be accessible by the general public. Files can be accessed by staff or through a designated direct address only (usually just for the user uploading the attachment).
Templates Folder is where all the templates for the Site are stored. You have file level access to all templates to download/upload/modify them. For editing, it is recommended to use the Template app to edit Smarty code or download the template files to your computer, use an IDE to edit and then upload them back.
This is your private folder where you can store your private files and view them on any Site you manage.
You can upload a file by clicking on the Upload button to select file or folder to upload. You can also drag and drop a file into a folder or the current folder window to upload it.
To select a file, you can double-click on the file name. If there is a text editor where the File Manager is opened, the file/image will be inserted directly into the editor. Otherwise, the file address is copied.
Images can be resized, cropped and rotated using the File Manager. Just right click on the image to open the menu.
